Let’s Meet the Man.

You may need to hire a lawyer and if/when you do it is comforting to know that the choice you make is someone who will fight for you every step of the way.  Matters of social security disability and workers’ compensation contain many slippery slopes that demand a steady and experienced hand working on your behalf.

Alden B. Cole spent 5 years as a United States Marine.  When he was honorably discharged from the military, he was laser focused on a career path…helping the injured and disabled in any way he could.  He also made another critical decision.  He chose to open his own law firm rather than taking the easier way out and become an associate at a larger firm.

The Cole Law Firm has over 20 years’ experience handling social security disability and workers’ compensation in Wilmington and surrounding cities.  His sole mission is to secure benefits or compensation for his firm’s injured or disabled clients.  There is no charge for a consultation!  Visit with Alden at 206 N. 4th St. in Wilmington NC by calling (910) 231-2042.

Filing for Social Security Disability.

When you seek an attorney to file on your behalf for social security disability look for one very important attribute.  Make sure that their sole mission in the process is the very same as yours…securing every dollar to which you are entitled.  It would be nice if the attorney would work with you personally and not hand you off to an underling.

Social security disability claims can (and often do) apply to kids as well.  So, if that is the nature of your claim, make sure that the lawyer you speak with has dealt with claims on behalf of children before.  There will be several points that include personal information about you and your family.  Prepare to answer honestly!

The right man for the job in Wilmington, NC may very well be social security disability attorney Alden Cole.  He has devoted the last two plus decades of his life fighting for your benefits with the state of North Carolina.  Give Alden a call and sit down for a one-on-one chat in his office located at 206 N. 4th St. Suite 9.  Call for an appointment at (910) 231-2042.

Hiring the Right Auto Accident Attorney.

Let me ask you…if someone is going to represent you in a North Carolina court of law do you want it to be the ad salesmen who is always on television ranting and raving about how good he is?  Or…would you rather have the steady hand of someone who doesn’t hand off the case to someone else in his larger-than-life law firm?

Alden Cole of the Cole law firm speaks with every client individually.  He listens to the compelling and unique situation that would cause you to come to him in the first place.  For 20 years he has guided people who have been injured in a vehicle accident in receiving all the compensation that they are entitled to.

It boils down to one simple premise…if you or a loved one has been injured or killed in a car, motorcycle, or truck accident give Alden a call.  On top of the pain and suffering, victims and their families may endure financial hardship as well. Attorney Alden Cole is here to help.  If you live in the Wilmington NC area call him today at (910) 231-2042.

You Have Permanent Disability…Can you Apply for Social Security Disability as Well?

The short answer is maybe.  Yes, you MAY be able to collect disability benefits from social security.  Permanent partial disability, or PPD, is a term used by those who have recovered from their injury but are left with some level of impairment that is not expected to improve significantly.

The workers' compensation definitions of disabled really don't carry any weight with Social Security.  If you currently receive PPD or if you settled with your worker's comp carrier for a lump-sum payment for PPD, you may wonder if you qualify for Social Security disability benefits.  These are questions that will affect the rest of your life!

Let’s find out exactly what you are entitled to.  I am Alden Cole of the Cole Law Firm serving Wilmington North Carolina and the surrounding area.  When I began fighting for the financial compensation rights of North Carolinians over 20 years ago, I made it my mission to understand the Social Security system inside and out.  Please call me at (910) 231-2042 for a sit-down at my office located at 2016 N. 4th St. Suite 9 in Wilmington.

Personal Injury vs. Workers’ Comp.

So… what is the difference between the two?  The single biggest difference is FAULT.  In a personal injury case someone else is at fault for the injury that has occurred to you or a loved one.  In the case of a Workers’ Compensation claim no one in particular needs to be blamed.  An accident happened and YOU need to be compensated.

Virtually, any employee injured on the job is entitled to Workers’ Compensation.  No one needs to spend time, expense, and effort to prove that someone else was negligent or that the workplace was an unsafe working environment.  You could have been totally to blame, but that does not negate your opportunity to be compensated according to the law.

That is where great legal advice comes into play.  You need to pursue your claim to the fullest extent.  You need to do it through the proper attorney.  Attorney Alden B. Cole is a workers’ comp attorney located in Wilmington NC.  He has represented workers injured on the job throughout the Tar Heel state for over 20 years.  Alden Cole handles every case personally. Call Alden and speak with him personally about your case at (910) 231-2042.
